2002 Winnebago Minnie Winnie - Miss Winnie!

We were lucky enough to acquire Miss Winnie from some good friends of ours Michael & LoRee.  She truly is an oldie but a goodie.  A 2002 compact model, that has absolutely everything you need for a party of two....And only 32,000 original miles!
We have borrowed Miss Winnie before, she's been to several Tampa Bay Blues Festivals and even to New Orleans for Jazz Fest!

When we heard our friends were going to trade her in, we begged for the opportunity to buy her!  At 22 feet, she has a bathroom complete with a toilet, sink and shower with hot water.  A full little kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, microwave and stove (we don't seem to use these much, as we are always cooking outside, but it's nice to know they are there in case we need them!)  A cozy loft for sleeping, a dinette and couch.  And there is so much storage!  More than we need!  We LOVE Miss Winnie.

Miss Winnie "Before"

Miss Winnie has original everything....carpet, cushions, curtains, etc.    I am quite happy with her just the way she is but my sweetie LisaP cannot wait to bring some fresh paint and color to her.  I think we removed the carpeting before even taking these "before" photos.

Miss Winnie "After"

Our friend Kurt helped us remove the carpet and install vinyl flooring.  It is SOOO much better!  Easy to clean and it looks great too.  LisaP painted all the cabinets a sunny golden yellow color and recovered the cushions in some cool designer fabric that we had from friend and designer Nilla Shields.  It was great to put that to use.  We have more pillows than we know what to do with and it was fun to hang some of our tropical artwork.  We still need to redo the curtains but for now they work just fine.

We are so excited to hit the road this summer!  We have an epic road trip in the works and we cannot wait to share our sights and adventures!

Rick Parsons was born and raised in New Orleans.  Lisa Parsons' connection to this city goes way back as well.  Their love and passion for New Orleans is evident in their life and the food they love to cook and share with people.

They love to travel and look forward to each and every trip.  Checking out the local vibes through music and food is the favorite to spend time.  They recently renovated a Minnie Winnie Camper and look to hitting the road whenever possible.
